A versatile storage pack that transitions from bike to wheelchair, designed for a local adaptive rider

Topher is an adaptive mountain biker who lives in Boulder, Co. He works for Boulder Country Open Space & Mountain Parks, and rides all around the state (and world) for both work and fun.

When I met Topher, his only storage was in his back panniers. This is a difficult spot for any rider (especially those with limited hand dexterity) to reach for snack, tools, and water.

On top of his own adventure riding, Topher also leads other adaptive athletes; so he needs storage space for gear and tools.
Topher also asked if the bag could accommodate his ExtremeMist, a portable misting device which keeps him hydrated and cool on the trails.

Insulated pocket
This neoprene-lined pocket provides insulated storage for Topher’s ExtemeMist. The two Velcro arms hold the battery in place & tuck behind the bag when the battery is not inserted.

Water bladder clip
The Velcro clip locks helps secure the water bladder in place during rides.

Bike to chair
The Velcro webbing strap wraps around he bike frame to secure the bg. When moving the bag from bike to wheelchair, simply slip the two webbing hooks onto the back of the wheelchair arms.
